I specifically bought this rain coat because the hood was detachable, (hate hoods) and it has a silky liner so your shirt doesn't drag through when you slip it on,
and because it's light enough, but has some weight to it.
I walk dogs every morning for 2.5 hours and I need coverage but not a down or fleece coat which gets too hot. I wasn't sure what size to order as with broad shoulders
and a large breast, I generally take a L or XL depending on the cut of the coat. Since people said this ran small, I opted for the XXL and it fits me big enough to
wear a hoodie and thick turtleneck underneath during the colder mornings. I could have gotten away with an XL if I just wanted to wear this with a summer top. I like
the XXL because I can cinch it in a few inches at the waist and I have lots of shoulder room to throw snow balls or Frisbees, etc. I always keep my coat zipped up and
it fits well with plenty of room.
With the XXL, the chest is 52 inches and the coat is straight so the waist and hem is also 52 inches. I have more than plenty of room for hips and bending over to
pick up toys, etc. The zipper is plastic and glides easily even though it does not have a reverse zipper.. The pockets are easy to fill with dog treats and easy to
put my hand in and pull them out in a hurry.
The length is perfect to keep the wind out and covers the buttocks fully. The sleeves are a bit long but can be rolled up at the cuff. I wear a sling pack across my
chest when I walk and this easily slips over the coat. Happy with the extra chest room.
To get the wrinkles out from being packaged, just throw the coat in the dryer with some dryer balls and a wet kitchen towel for five minutes.
Happy with the Royal Blue color...something brighter than the everyday grey, black or dark.
Have not needed to wash this but I will put it on the gentle soak cycle overnight and hang dry during a sunny day outdoors.
Lastly, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a rain coat. It is priced right and I will be happy with it for as long as it holds up. It is sewn well and is
sturdy enough for my needs and should last a good long time without breaking the bank.
I really like this jacket! I hate using umbrellas, so it was important to me to get a raincoat that can actually keep me dry. This really did the trick. It's a
lightweight winderbreaker kind of material - not plastic-y at all. Stuff in the pockets didn't get wet either. It actually looks like the pictures and is made well.
I've gotten some compliments and a few people have asked me to send them the link to buy, so I guess it's flattering!
My only minor complaint is the hood doesn't stay on super well. If I don't tie it, it flies off, but if I do tie it, it blocks my eyes. I'm still figuring out how
best to address that. I wore a baseball cap under it once to keep it on but out of my face and that seemed to help. Not a dealbreaker though!
I am 5‘2“ and liked the length of this jacket. I loved that the sleeves are cuffed and I really liked the flap over the zipper with snaps so that it can be partially
closed. What I did not like was that the pockets did not have a side entry with a zipper – they just snap at the top opening. I also wish it had vents under the
armpits and a better way to cinch up the waist - just loose string you have to tie. I ended up returning it because it was a little too big overall for my frame.
I read a lot of reviews and decided to purchase the jacket in dark red. It arrived two days ago and I love it! I am going to Paris later this month and wanted
something that looks great and that will keep me dry. Several reviews mentioned that it is not waterproof, so I went to RI and purchased NIKWAX spray on waterproofing
for wet weather clothing and will spray the jacket with it. That should do the trick. Stylish and dry for less than $80 total makes me happy.
I wish I would have maybe bought something a little dressier but this will do. It does repel wind and water and fits very comfortable, true to size, not too long or
short and I really like the elastic at the sleeves since I am petite I don't have to roll the sleeves up. Don't really understand the pinstripes on the hood.

I like the jacket so far. I'm short but have hips and bust. I ordered an XL and it fits nicely. The hood is not as big a deal as people describe it to be, it has a
drawstring so it can be tightened if necessary. It also has an interior waistline drawstring. I haven't tested it regarding water resistance but I can update later.
I did order two more colors so that speaks measures.
Es bastante ligero, no te ocupa demasiado espacio. Pedi talla S, se puede ajustar de la cintura, y me sigue quedando bien cuando uso capas de ropa debajo de el.
He caminado en días lluviosos con el y me cubre completamente bien, solo es un poco incómodo que el gorro no aprieta bien a tu cabeza y si hace viento se te va
cayendo. Fuera de eso, es muy muy muy cómodo, pedí color negro y es muy combinable. Las bolsas de los lados son amplias y se cierran con botón así te aseguras que
tus cosas no se salgan. Cumple su función de chubasquero. No es caliente, es delgado entonces si buscas que te protega del frío, necesitas usar otra cosa debajo del
chubasquero. Yo estoy muy contenta con el. Lo recomiendo.
