How stretchy is the dress? Anyone bought the 26?

Answer:I bought sz 26, I’m 5’0. It fits my large arms and the waist isn’t tight. It’s stretchy in the places you need it. Since I’m short it’s a couple inches 

too long but I can get that altered.

Answer:Honestly, it’s more cocktail attire. The skirt is very sparkly and meant to draw attention. I personally would not wear it to a somber occasion like a funeral.

I just received this dress. I ordered the all black version. It’s BEAUTIFUL. Very well made. Fits true to size. I’m 5’3” and wear an 18-20. I ordered 20 and it’s great. 

It hits me about 5-6” from feet. Like tea length and the lace looks beautiful at the ankles. I will put one stitch where the front crosses the boobs to keep it in 

place and not show everything. I’m so very happy to wear this at my daughters wedding, it’s elegant but light and comfortable. You can’t go wrong with this 

dress…short women it will hit floor length, tall will be cocktail length. Pretty pretty pretty.

I purchased this dress to wear to an annual awards events, where "ball gowns are encouraged". Being short, ball gowns that do not need $$$ alterations are difficult, 

if not impossible to find. This dress is perfect in that it falls above my ankles, has sleeves (doesn't require a separate wrap), fits my plump figure fairly well, 

and is beautiful and fancy enough to fit in with the ball gowns that will surely be on display. There are a couple of things I wish were different: the sleeves are a 

bit tight on my plump upper arms, but that fabric is a wee bit stretchy, so I can deal. Also, the crossover v-neck is a deep plunge that requires a bit of sewing to 

make it fit better and maintain a bit of modesty. 😉 The sizing is very strange (obviously not U.S.), but the size chart was accurate insofar as my measurements go. 

I typically wear a 1X in all of my clothing, and that translates to a 4X for this dress, so pay attention to the sizing chart!

I needed a somewhat formal dress for an event and chose this one even though it’s not a style I normally wear. I got so many compliments on this dress! 

It’s very comfortable. The neckline was a little low for me but a pin in the right place solved that problem. I’m short, 5’2” and it came right to my ankles. 

The bodice is form fitting so you might and the skirt flares out beautifully.

I initially liked the dress because I felt it was a modest and flattering cut for a plus size woman such as myself who was uncomfortable showing arms and legs. 

I purchased for a wedding and was pleased that the top was all black, AND 3/4 sleeved! So, to start - for any fellow buyers, please look at the size chart. Now, 

I do know it's a little tricky, but I am a 42DD and wear a 3X top. I'm 5'2" and 298lbs. I figured that an A-line dress would have very little issues fitting around 

my waist and hips - it was going to be the chest and arms I would need to be concerned about. So, I ordered a 26W. But then I started to read reviews about this dress 

running large and so on, so I panicked and ordered three additional dresses, in a 24W, 22W and 20W for good measure. Turns out, the original dress in the 26W fit 

perfectly. While I could fit in the 24W, I felt that top was a bit snug for my liking - if I'm going to be dancing around at a wedding, I want to be comfortable. 

Ladies - note that the top is VERY well made and I love that it's thicker material - almost a double layer so it keeps the "girls" in. Also, the V-neck is NOT too 

low at all. It really is a very classy and well made dress! So, I also want to point out that the top doesn't have as much stretch as you'd expect - the zipper is 

really what holds you in and makes the dress fit. So - that being said - if you are hoping you're going to get some extra stretch by going down a size and squeezing 

in - do yourself a favor and order the size per the size chart that most closely matches the sizing you'll need in your chest. You will be happy you did. I am happy 

that Amazon allows returns because I was able to return the three smaller sizes that didn't fit AND I was able to do it all before the weekend wedding I'm attending. 

Oh, and one more note about the length - for me, it was ABSOLUTELY perfect. No hitting the floor - just hit around my ankles, actually. I think this was probably 

because my chest is a bit larger, but in any case, it fit just fine! All those comments about the "noisy" skirt are totally not true. The dress is gorgeous and sure 

there is going to be a bit of noise if you're swishing it around constantly because of the sequin, but nothing like the reviews made it out to be. All in all, I think 

this was a great find! I hope this seller starts carrying more well-made and flattering dresses for us plus size ladies!!!!!
