I needed a mother of the groom dress for my son’s wedding in London. This was a perfect choice! I normally wear a size 8 and that was what I ordered. It fit great 

everywhere except my bust (36DD), so I had to go up a size to accommodate. Which made it fit loosely everywhere else, so did need to get it altered for hips and length. 

But I felt very comfortable in it all afternoon and evening during the festivities. Received many compliments on it. The material is great, and even after stuffing 

it in a suitcase haphazardly for the return trip to the US, it still looked great when I pulled it back out.

Love this dress due to me being short I to get it altered fits nicely across the chest definitely hide the little side muffin very comfortable. I got it for my sons 

wedding. One other thing it does have lots of glitter which didn’t bother me at all because I literally shook the dress over my shoulders and back before putting on 

the dress to have that dust of sparkles on my skin. Don’t hesitate get it

The dress is beautiful and hides the imperfections when I tried it on even without my spanks (lol). Hides the bra straps so no need to wear strapless. 

Perfect fit/true to size. I normally buy size 10 and purchased this dress a size 10. Love it and can’t wait to wear it to my event!!!!

It may have been posted and overlooked. However I did not realize this was a used/returned item. There were grease stains on the dress from where it had obviously 

been worn. The dress is beautiful and fits great. But please, look at your dress closely before wearing it. 5 star review on the dress, 3 for the grease stains.

the dress is beautiful but fits a bit on the bigger side. i ordered it from the size chart according to my measurements and still fit a bit loose. other than that 

the color is rich and the fabric is thin, perfect for summer functions. it shows a lot of cleavage tho and i did not realize that from the picture.

Although the dress is gorgeous, I broke out because of the material. Could not wear it and had to return. Dr. said it was probably from all the glitter in the 

material/dress. Very disappointed!

I bought this dress to wear to my daughters wedding. It arrived in two days and fit so well I needed no alterations. I followed the size chart and measured just 

to make sure the right size was ordered. I bought the smoky gray glittery gown. It was so comfortable and does not wrinkle during transport (for us it was 10 hours 

in a car). I am still receiving compliments on my beautiful, stunning gown. Thank you Alex Evening's Dresses!!!!

The dress is beautiful and light weight. I purchased the size 16 and it did require alterations under the arms (too large) and I did not want to have it reveal too 

much at the top so I had the straps brought up and the gathering adjusted at cleavage. I was able to wear a bra/slip with straps due to the shoulder straps on the 

dress and during alterations they made sure to have them a little wider to make sure they covered the bra straps.

I am 5’ 3” so the length was too long but that was okay because I wanted it longer than in the sample photo shown on the website.

I wore this as the Mother of the Groom. I received many compliments but I will caution that the glitter is a concern for photographers. Please make sure you have a 

lint roller and don’t touch your face before photos. Everyone you hug will get glitter on them! After the photos.... who cares! Glitter away!

DO NOT spray hairspray on the dress! I read the reviews about the glitter and bought the dress anyway. I asked the dry cleaners about the hair spray and was told not 

to because it would stain the dress. Just want to pass that along.

The dress is a smoke (gray) color but in different lighting it has a blue tone.

This dress is gorgeous and fits like a glove. Ordered my normal size. Only did 4 stars because they sent the wrong color but luckily it will still work and the seam 

on the sleeve is unraffling a bit but can easily be fixed. Otherwise, the dress is beautiful and flows nicely.

This is a very elegant dress. It was a little too dressy for the memorial I wanted to get a dress for. But for a night at the opera or symphony it would work. 

Not quite black tie but almost. It fit very well though a little too long for me at 5’5”.
